My name is Ms. Zawatsky and I am a part of the Rhode Island High School community where I teach biology. I am a native Rhode Islander at heart, though I was born in Hawaii on the island of O’ahu. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2015 with my degrees in Secondary Education and Biology. I am a avid lover of science and in my free time I am a photographer and a printmaker. I also deeply enjoy hiking in the mountains and road cycling. I happen to think that learning can incorporate passions like art, music, and athleticism and I’m excited to see what passions I can discover and see cultivated in my students.
